Filmed in the picturesque locations of Pitlochry and Blair Atholl in Highland Perthshire, the band not only demonstrate their musical ability, they also show you the beauty of their surrounding countryside as well. From the rugged beauty of Bruar Falls to the majestic Blair Castle, the band play tunes old and new.
Tunes that are steeped in Scottish history, tunes from the Celtic regions of Europe, as well as modern melodies, all set against the magnificent backdrop that is their home.
The band have stepped away from the traditional type of Pipe Band production. For example: they take you to a Highland Games that boasts the oldest piping competition in the world. Then there is a trip to one of the major championships, the Scottish championships in Dumbarton.
Do you know how the great highland bagpipes works? ..no..you will when you have viewed this DVD. How does it actually feel to march as a piper with the band? Well, with the view from 'piper cam' you will actually be there in the band yourself.
